Once we got this truck in the shop for full rust repairs and extensive panel work, the neat '48 F100 was soon looking schmick enough to wear the sensational custom mixed green glossy coat of paint you see now! Perfectly complemented by the interior- full digital dash, air conditioning, power windows and an XF Falcon Ute front seat cut down to fit. That divine cream leather trim suits the car perfectly while Dragway smoothies with white walls and cream piping along the guards add the finishing touches.

Ken supplied Oz Rods with a rolling chassis with a BA Ford Falcon Independent rear end, to which we fitted an EL Falcon front with Rod-Tech adjustable coil overs and power steering. The last thing you'd expect to find in the engine bay is the 32 valve quad cam Lexus V8 that purrs away just nicely... A cool combo of classic meets modern technology!
Ken's 1948 Ford F100 Pick Up...
When Ken originally wanted to get rid of a run down 1969 F100 he had rusting
away in the  backyard he probably didn't plan that it would end up as the
beautifully restored daily driver that it is today, owned by his son Tristan!
Peep under the hood and you'll find a tidy 302 Cleveland running on straight
gas rebuilt by Currie Brothers, with all components and parts supplied by us.

Full restoration... you know what that means! We had a big job re-fabricating the roof and fabricating a new cowl by hand, making up new door jambs and bonnet, and hours of panel work cutting out and repairing all that nasty, pesky rust! Like all things good and old this car was missing a few pieces, such as a tray! No problem… we just built a new one from scratch! The two tone paint is House of Kolor wild cherry and silver and set off by a matching set of Dragway chrome smoothies and white walls you see on dad's 1948 F100.

But Wait... There's More...
